ASUS’un Radeon HD 7970 DirectCU II adlı ekran kartıyla ilgili yepyeni bilgiler Internet’e düştü. Uzunluğu 27,94cm olan ekran kartında 100mm’lik iki adet fan kullanılıyor ve 3 slotluk yer kaplıyor.
Cihaz, ayrıca çift-8pin güç yuvası ve 10+1+1 (10’u GPU, 1’i bellek ve 1’i de I/O yedek güç için) şeklinde güç kaynağı dizaynına sahip. Video bağlantısı için cihazın üzerinde 2 adet DVI ve 4 adet de DisplayPort yuvası mevcut. Fabrikası çıkışı overclock edilmiş GPU hızı 1000MHz ve bellek hızıysa 5600MHz.

(Ağu 14, 2012 - 02:10)Most people shouldn’t be complaining about this. On a modern board you can fit this and at least 3 other add-on cards. And the number of people who can afford to run two of these is rather small, or rather the number of people who can afford it and are willing.

Right now I’m using two double-slotters and I have to be careful when changing mobos to pick a model that will allow me access to a PCI slot for my sound card with two double-slot graphics cards. Triple-slotters are a nightmare and seriously impinge on upgradability.
